This is to remove a stencil from a screen to use it for another job. A screen can be used for approximately 20 jobss before it needs to be re-meshed. Supplies needed: Ink Wash, Emulsion Remover, Haze Remover, Screen Degreaser, 1 red scrub and blue scrub pad.
A. Remove the left over ink from the screen and put it back in the container. Clean the ink residue on the screen with the ink degradent using a blue scrubber. Place the screen in your sink and rinse both sides with water.
B. Spray emulsion remover on both sides to loosen the emulsion, scrub with red scrubber on both sides of the screen.
C. Rinse the emulsion off the screen with cool water.
D. You may need to repeat this procedure for complete stencil removal.
E. At times the mesh will be stained with ink or emulsion, our Haze Remover will remove these stains. Pour directly to a red scrub pad and scrub both sides, wait three minutes and rinse.
Note: An electric power wash unit with 1000 psi is helpful for this process.
