Ink Selection:
Choosing the right ink is very important in saving time and money. Texsource carries the most popular ink selection on the market. We carryTexsource, IC, Rutland and Union inks.
Different series of ink for different garments.
A. Multi-purpose: Can be used for ALL printing with some modification for specfic garments. For printing 100% cotton or 50/50 no changes are necessary. When printing direct nylon jackets a catalyst must be added. To print a puff design you need to add 15% to 20% puff additive. On 100% polyester you must use a low bleed poly white under lay.
B. Low-Bleed: For printing on 100% polyster, 50/50 bleeds or dye migrating garments. For best results use on 60 to 125 mesh count.
Tip: Catalyst must be used when printing any weather worn garment, such as nylon jackets or unbrellas.
C. Nylon: IC 900 or Union Path is ideal for open mesh jersey and nylon jacket printing. Catalyst can be used for superior adhesion.
D. Super Opaque: These high opacity inks maximum coverage on the dark garments. S.O.'s should be uded on hard to cover garments.
E. Poly Ink: This product is for 100% poly garments.
Tip: If your garment reads poly - use poly series from Union. It gives you great results
